I've been a bit too comfortable with being by myself, and I am aware of it, which is why I do try to keep an eye out for myself (cause for one thing, there's no one to really look out for me, and even those who are closest to me, family or friends, don't know me very well, some to the point where they can't understand me at all, which is surprising, since they are the closest I can get). If-I've-learnt-something-wise, I doubt so (?) cause nothing started, nothing progressed, except maybe I can tell myself to be, perhaps, a little bit more aggressive? But part of me is quite scared, given a particular chip of my past, and I don't want that part of me to hurt others too, cause I know how it can potentially be hurtful for them. But that's not absolute, cause it varies for different people, and there are those who perhaps know that answer to finally break my front. I just need that someone to knock that sense into me.
But since I kinda know this, doesn't that make it something that I am already expecting? And that I am already unconsciously knocking that sense into myself? And wouldn't that just mean that I would, eventually, not need that someone? (becoming a little too Hachiman here)

Maybe I'll just read the manga then. I prefer having the original work, and most of the time manga cause they can elaborate their stories better than anime (cause they may be running a budget while making the anime).

And ah, Hanasaku Iroha, a pretty rare quartz-like material anime (not like the precious stones, but precious in its own way). There are little who notices the title, and yep, it is a very relaxing anime with little ripples.

It's the first time I'm hearing of night classes for full time students actually so I am a little surprised, but I do know that part time classes may be conducted at night to suit for those who are working. But well, if you have company with you, you should be quite safe I guess? But it's still better to have your dad fetch you, for the sake of safeness. Better safe than sorry.
And I hope I can? I think I've made it into a bad habit of mine, being too engrossed in the things I do, and the things I think of. I can control it, sometimes, but not always. It's second nature to me already.

I think I heard about them trying to release the common borders bit by bit, but that was all the news mentioned, and that it was the Venezuelan government's doing. I was thinking if it was because of the external pressuring that you've told me before though.
And why did you think that it may not be something good though? Something happening behind those scenes?

I really doubt anyone can get close to understand you as you want XD (that is for everyone), there is people who can do it better than others to some extent, but still I don't believe there is someone who can be a key master to us more than ourselves, expecting that on someone else is quite a high expectation let me say, I believe that it's ourselves that have to devote to that inner work of nurturing and maturing ourselves, and if you are aware of your qualities and if you constantly make the effort, you will knock that sense into yourself in every moment the best you can XP (even unconsciously), now it's trial and error to see the best way it works or if there is need for another approach or if it wasn't bad at all. And as you become happy and independent (no one is fully independent, but at least being responsible and mature) on yourself, then it's the best time that one can be with someone that truly wants to support us, even if that someone can't understand us fully and we certainly can't understand that someone completely, we would want to be there and support her in any way we can (ideally), a balance between independence and interdependence would be the best, without giving all the weight on expectations to someone else for solving ourselves (I believe it's less probable to work), those are some of my thoughts on the matter, still I haven't corroborated them by experience, I hope I will in its given time =).

Yes! Read the manga =P I hope you get hooked on it.

Well, I believe I'm wasting already all the relaxing anime I like, one of the last seeming jewels was this one, so I will see and hope I can enjoy it (I found difficult liking Aria or non non biyori, it's good that it's really quiet, but I haven't found myself in need for that still contemplation jet).

It's indeed an schedule made for working people, but I'm outside the common situation because I failed on some subjects, so there aren't teachers who give those subjects in the morning this semester, this career is weird at that, but I believe it's because there aren't enough professors to suffice the demand, so the repeaters we the damned, are confided to the afternoon teachers along with working people.

I believe if you make it a priority and work your ways in getting better in those situations (as in unconsciously knocking sense into yourself) then you will have your rest, but if you like more to be like that, then it isn't bad either, it's what you prefer but it has the cons that you already know; I would like to become easily engrossed on some things indeed, it isn't bad until you damage yourself or any other in the process (but who is perfect anyway?).

there is always something happening there behind the scenes, but it's just me being a little paranoid and angry at them XP, it's good if they ease the tension little by little, but they are doing that after the disaster they made, for appeasing Santos and the international judgement.

Hum, at least my developed reading habits in the vacations have served me with the studying, still I have to cut the dependence on anime and manga, so I make reading my 1° priority.

Replying to Vic, for the longer part:

I'm trying to watch Non Non Biyori cause I liked the OST a lot (my usual bad habit of listening to the OST first before watching the anime Tongue out laughing) but my slow Internet really is chipping away at my motivation Wait I've watched the first two episodes though, really like the peace and quiet so far.

For having subjects that aren't offered in particular semesters, what I encountered before is because of the demand of the subject. Schools tend to offer more for the subjects that are in high demand (as in, perhaps, many majors/careers require it) and those that don't might only get offered once per year. There was once I had to beg my department to open up a class that's open for only once a year on an earlier semester (did I mention this before? I think I did) to fulfill my credits.

Maybe the only con that I can think of as of now is that it's easier to get tired once I stop the focusing. Other than that, I think it's fine. I still have some small brain space to spare for times when other people are calling me as I work.

For situations like that, I tend to avoid being overly critical towards whoever that's involved, cause I prefer to see things in a more objective and practical way. There are many times when things are very simple after all, much to our surprise and disbelieve. But what you said is true, that the mess shouldn't have been made in the first place if they already know of the consequences.

Speaking of reading habits, I've had mine broken down just as I built it up, but that was some time ago, when everything just started sucking out on my time and energy. Kinda lost the habit now, but I do plan to build it back, again. xD

Heh heh... We're too used to it. Tongue out It helps convey our thoughts better.

For the issue on trusting, sure, there are many times when you can tell yourself to trust yourself to come through things, but there will also be times when you have to learn to be dependent, especially once you become a leader, or if you're working with a group of people. There are times when you have to let some things, that you know that they're bad, happen. Most of the time, you know because you've been through it, but others may not. If your advices fall on deaf ears, then it's better to just keep one eye shut and let things happen (given that they're not too severe) to that others may learn too. Just my 2cents. Thanks Bran, for reminding me that I don't have the phrase "give up" in my dictionary Tongue out This part of me irks many of those older than me cause they think we should surrender to society as soon as possible and realize that we are but birds caged in "reality".

Man, if it wasn't for that side section, it would appear to be the longest post in months XD.

    Reply to Japo long message:

I have barely watched like one anime episode per day (or not even 1 in some) Sigh , at least I enjoy to do these posts, it makes me be clear and remember my beliefs, ways of thought and lots of things I have read, if I can explain it (the things I wrote) it's that I internalized well what I wanted to learn, if it helps the better =P and I practice english Whistle , and makes me reflect on my own life and situations as I write, lots of flashbacks (quite a dramatic movie in the back of my head) and imagined situations.

yep I remember when you told us, you got and approved that subject?

It's true, sometimes one has to take a step back and see the whole picture, there are moments when the people are stuck on something trying to solve a problem but they don't see other details besides the ones they believe that have the solution and get frustrated (more than once happens to me, if I'm not accustomed to look for an alternate route, it's difficult to see them even after trying to take that step back, and as you say it could have been "very simple" XD).

And I have to read after posting here, Working

I agree with the trust thing, for me it's kinda difficult to let people crash as I am one that likes to make things go perfect even if I'm involved in an indirect way, but some have to learn and do stuff on their own as you did once. The Irony, society is constantly changing little by little, and we thinks it was always like that, that is some unmovable thing that precedes us and constrains us, yeah it constrains us on some way, but along with it we are co-determined, and even as for today people are still fighting and going forward for changing their reality, and if it's a known issue, that person isn't alone, lots (but little against the rest of the mass) of persons have detected it and some are doing something too, it's always like that, the thing is along with one's work one have to unite with others for making a greater impact, there can be losses but in the end one can contribute to the constant change (we hope for the better) of the human world, how those caged birds can say that after all the changes in history, through history we learn how capable of change is the human and society (all those revolutions, historical periods, the rise and falls of empires, nations, secret societies, "heroes and villains" comes to mind).

    Sorry brandom, Mega post!.

Japo, there is difference between being 'dependment' and 'learning', learning from someone or something does not make you dependment of them. I would consider myself fully independent, but I still learn from peoe as well. Indpenent means that you can take care of yourself, think for yourself and act for yourself. It is a great thing, you should always trust your own judgement and definitelly never doubt it. Be an indpendent thinker. Don't let society dicatate how you live and think. Never ever give up on anything you do. Remmeber the old saying: If at first you do not succeed, try try again!

Spoiler to reply to Vic's spoiler xD Unsure

I tend to cram my anime sessions in any one day now due to the Internet. It's entertaining for those few 20+ minutes, and then when I exhausted those that I have access to, I'm stuck with having bad Internet again. And my Internet at home has been acting up, again. It's disastrous Flip table

I think it's the same when you're actually sharing your own stories with someone else, or when someone's telling you their story, and your mind would try to match them up with your past experiences, and along the way, you reflect on them (Wait, are our minds supposed to work that fast? Cause from what I've been told, it doesn't work that fast  nonononono )

And yep, I've got that subject approved and finished it. Got me-self a good grade so I am content. <img src=" longdesc="109" />

I always think that there are more than one solution to every problem or question out there, and I find it interesting to explore the different ways of coming to the solution, much like how I enjoy using different methods to get to the same answer in math. But of course, as you employ different ways of doing something, you may get results that are slightly different, or you may get different experiences along the way. But then, if you just want to get things done, or if you're in rush of time, then it would still be best to get to the solution through the shortest path. Some would jump into the problems headfirst cause they would think that the sooner you get your hands dirty, the earlier you may get things done, while some would analyze the situation first before doing anything, explore the alternatives in their heads, and then start their project xD.

    Quoting Vic:

It's how war and conflict happened I believe, many of them at least. Revolutions are needed to push society forward, cause given it's slow pace, it may need to be sped up at some time, some point.
And speaking of heroes and villains, who are the true heroes and villains, when heroes would think villains as villains, and villains might think of themselves as heroes whereas heroes as villains? It's just a matter of perspective, once again. It's funny when it actually turns out both sides are nothing but zeroes. <img src=" longdesc="109" /> (just saying, partly for the gags, but not entirely nonsense)

brandon_g wrote:Japo, there is difference between being 'dependment' and 'learning', learning from someone or something does not make you dependment of them. You've gotten me wrong Bran. Being 'dependent' doesn't mean that you have to 'learn' something from someone. It simply means being dependent, relying on other people. It's a bit surprising I know, I was surprised when I realize that it's something to learn too, despite being told that we have to be independent on our own. There are at least two reasons to why we need to be dependent: One, we're not perfect; Two, we can't do everything on our own. There are times when we have to rely on other people, no matter how powerful we become. In fact, the more powerful you become, the more you need to rely on other people.

How you defined independence is correct, being able to think for yourself, take care of yourself, and act for yourself, on your own. But I must disagree with always trusting your own judgements and never doubting it. Sure, there are times when you mustn't have these doubts, but I'd rather let my own judgements have the benefit of the doubt. After all, who are we to say that whatever we do is always righteous and just? Like what I mentioned to Vic up there, heroes may very well be villains, villains may very well be heroes, both heroes and villains heroes, both heroes and villains villains, or both zeroes. We may say that our actions today are correct, but can we be sure that it is still correct tomorrow, or the day after? Here's an example, and do read until the very end, especially at the end about the person named Biddle who started the firing, and his public apology.

    Super mega post!!

You may have a point Japo, but unless I have a broken leg, need cpr or something I would rather be indpedent.

Of course we aren't always right Japo, but one should still trust their instincts, because 9 times out of 10 (especially in stressful or perilous sitautions). I am not saying we are always right, we are not. That doesnt mean we have to be dependent on someone, but rather, we probably have people whom we trust, that watches us, we encourage those people to let us know when we do wrong, that way we can realize it and make the nessecary corrections to learn from it. Doing that will allow us to have others who can let us know when we do wrong so we can fix it, but that we are not nessecarily dependent on.

Hmm... You're not seeing my point Bran. Let's put it this way: I believe it is impossible for one man to run a whole company or firm by himself, that he has to do the management, the paperworks, the accounts, the inventories, the marketing, the human resource, and yada yada yada... Correct? No one person can possibly do all those alone in a short amount of time. Sure, there are people who can do all these things, and they be masters at it, but at the end of the day, if you want things done efficiently, you'll still need someone else to help you. And when you want that someone to help you, you would hope to find someone who's reliable that you can trust to do the job for you, right? But then with the many others things that you have to do, you simply can't watch over this guy (we're taking just one as an example now) do his job all the time. That's when you need to believe that they'll get the job done, you delegate the job for him/her. You're now relying on that person, not? The results are for another story though.

Well in that instance Japo that is called hiring workers, totally different conversation altogether. You are not nessecarily dependent on any single worker. you are just hiring (agreeing to pay someone to do a job or task) someone to work for you. Totally different conversation.

You can put it that way, but there will still need to be some level of reliance on your workers to get your job done (note that I've never mentioned any single worker and I specifically avoided saying that cause it's wrong to just rely on one worker). You won't hire someone who's unreliable after all.

But this is just a casual example, and it is a very particular one. The reliance that I mentioned, I think, is actually simpler and subtler. But I can't really explain it, and it's useless for me to explain anyway, cause it's something that, really, only be learnt through experience. It's not the immediate kind of reliance where you rely on someone to get things done, for you.

I get where your going though, you need to have other people you can trust to help you with something when you don't have the time to do it yourself. It is sorta why I have site mods and another Admin or two. I can't be on my forum every second of every day, so I need help to get things done :D.

it's been quite some time since I replied, well (background sounds of cracking fingers) here I go:

A little reply to old japo spoiler:

still watching rarely any anime, I have watched baccano! and now I have to watch the last 2 special episodes.

The conscious mind doesn't work that fast nor is that powerful (depends on the person), what some theorist and I believe is that the unconscious mind (all that background processes and brain potential) is what is really powerful, and it's what gives you all those flash backs and if you have the automatic input command for connecting those Ideas it will be matching them, the new and old experiences, netting what you want to net and the things in which you find a relation. For me the unconscious mind is that fast, remember that you are actually perceiving lots of constant sensations of your reality on all senses as you act and think, and even you can react really fast when you perceive something rare, movement or a possible threat, it can do even some calculations, if you look some simple mathematical problems it as already solved them (if you are practitioner of that kind of thinking), I for example could do in my change exam, really fast solutions without consciously thinking with voice and all tho lots of mathematical problems, and if I had selected the wrong answer I would know (only one time I missed it and corrected it), I know that I had the best and faster answers that day, since the average around me couldn't make near the half, and I had nearly finished even after helping someone picking up something that fell.

It's the same as when reading something, if you are accustomed to it, the unconscious already has all your knowledge and skills, it will grasp the meaning easily, in the way you are accustomed to see things and already will connect it with another similar information or meanings, for making a deeper analysis and trying to think in another perspective then for that you would need your conscious mind, slower, and with lesser reserve of energy and attention, of course with the unconscious always supporting in the background, that is what I believe, and it again can be proved when you simply read something on a well known language for you, you don't have to think or raise your mind voice to know what it says, just run your sight through the letters and inside you you know what those letters meant, your feel it (subliminal messages are a proof too).

Yep, I would be the latter, but if I'm tired or exhausted I would probably fall into jumping into the problem headfirst, most of us do that if they are forced to in situations like that, but if you have the time it would be safer to rest and then have the energy to analyze things XD.

Yes it's mostly like that, the victorious write the history, and defines who is a hero and whom is the villain. Even as for today I haven't read your example XD. Something important I would say is that the biggest and solid changes are the slower ones, since in that process the very structure of the societies are moved and changed, but let me say, something of debate today is that the world is changing really fast, with all the communication there is, all the production and publication of knowledge and information, and interconnection of the societies, everyone is influencing one another in some way, at least by little (of course the ones in power and with dominant Ideas and culture, are the ones that influence the most).

Hum the dependence issue, sorry for meddling, but as a partial social scientist I have to say that one is dependent on all your context on all the system, for example on our society that needs the internet and makes of it a business, then the company that provides you of it for a price and it gets to your computer,  for our homes and services that go along with it, we depend on the company or the government, for the people that cleans the streets, for our food, we depend on the farmers (and they depend on the government or whatever provides them of stuff), then on the distributors, then on the markets, we depend on the people that pay us for giving our life time producing money or anything, we depend on other humans for satisfying our need for social and emotional connection and comfort, most of us are consumers, not hunters, not inventors, we depend on something other people made. And if we bring the man in the jungle case that has happened a lot, yes you can survive to all the odds being alone and using your brains, but a kid still needs his parents for growing the minimal physical and mental abilities to survive, you depend on them since in the womb for protection, and if the kid at a young age stays alone in the jungle and he/she survives, as we are a social animal, it would be hard for it to adapt into society, not impossible, but it would be hard and make him uneasy for a long time. All that we know, lots of what we are comes thanks to society, language, the possibility to develop certain abilities, our conduct and ways of thinking, our beliefs, it influence all of this and more and I don't forget the individual, but lets say it's like one is a kid which is given a limited set lego pieces and is taught rules on how to build, not forgetting and knowing that there are biological and genetic factors that makes the kid a human individual different from others (yet human) and lets not forget that those characteristics are thanks to the legacy of our ancestors =P.

So in resume we depend on a system or systems (socials, I would say even natural -like our biology and nature itself- for considering all the contexts) and its processes and workings that we take for granted (if an electromagnetic pulse huge enough to take on the satellites and our world happens we would be doomed!, no technology XD, at least no resistant one to that).

That's great Bran. Better pay I believe? What are you working as there?

And congrats on getting promoted as a helper on FM support. :D

I'm reapplying for my visa now and have been busy running around. So little time for myself, except for the last few hours before sleep (I treasure my me-time a lot). And my Internet at home is down, again. Thunder struck, and the telephone cables outside of the house was burnt. I'm lucky that my router is fine.

And I'm now back in the capital of my country, trying to resolve my visa. Just got here on a 4-hour bus today.

Support Moderator actually, I was already a Helper, on the English Support forum a helper is just a normal user that helps out, its just a rank. A helper isn't staff, now as a Support Mod I am staff.

I am also an Electronics department sales associate Smile. Yeah the pay is little better, 9 dollars and 20 something cents an hour. Not great, but atleast its not minium wage. :D

Congrats brandon! on your new job and on your forum promotion, and good luck to japo with your visa and both jobs XP; lucky I'm, today it's a holiday so I'm a bit more free =P, but I will be studying comfortably.

Wow, quite luck, so the government or the phone company should repair it or your parents have to?, your house is in the open in the country or the place with the phone cables was in the open (without any other buildings around)?

My only me-time there is right before I sleep. So darn busy when I'm there. Lots of running around. I barely touched anything else besides my phone. My laptop was mostly idle. Ugh... But now I'm back, not that the visa application has been submitted yet. The application office wasn't helpful at all. They don't give much advices and just take in applications and send em.

And oops. Sorry Bran. Didn't mean to get the title wrong. But really, congrats. :D
And just to give you a little motivation on the salary, $9.20+ per hour is around RM38.06 per hour here in Malaysia, which you can already eat for a day here. Working 8 hours (assuming it is) would give RM304.48, and 5 days would give RM1,522.40. Many salaryman here earn around RM 2k - RM 3k a month, and you've already earned half of our top average in two weeks... I'm ranting Tongue out laughing I just hope that our people can really have better wages here cause almost everything is rising but our salary. Don't know if this can really serve as some motivation cause I'm not too sure of the day-to-day expenses there.

Vic, the phone company (it's a semi-privatized company) should be the one repairing but their servicing sucks to no end. Called em on Thursday and they said they'd come the next day, but nope, didn't appear. Called em again on Friday and they said they'd come on Saturday (technicians work on weekends) but nope, didn't come to repair it as well. My dad got frustrated and fixed it on his own. That company has really bad reputation, for the longest time, but no one can do anything about it cause it's the only company that provides service for home telephones (yes, it's a monopoly, and is protected by the government). There are other options now from other telecommunication companies (for broadband) but they only serve for big places like the capital and some other notable places in the country, and it's been this way for years. Small places like my hometown won't ever get the service and can thus only rely on that phone company. Many other telecommunication services promised to quickly expand their service to other places, but it's been more than 5 years since the last time they said that. People say privatized companies should have better services but sadly that doesn't hold for my country.

Oh, and our telephone cables, along with electric ones, all dangle up in the air. And my home is away from town so there are no tall buildings there (actually, even the town doesn't have much tall buildings).

Busy life is with us these days then, as I write this post before going to sleep XP; well as it seems, you are doing your all for having approved your visa application the soonest possible you can, I hope that all goes smoothly with that, good luck.

Oh the currency XD, technically he is a rich man in my country, it's deplorable that what one time ago was a really expensive currency is now less worthy than trash, than a napkin, but yeah with that currency and payment you can go and do lots of things in here.

In here the local phone service is run by the government and the rest is private, the cellphone services, except one that is from the government and one private company that allows local numbers, but well, the service is really decaying right now, the internet service mostly, it's really slow these days, before it was more decent at peak hours, and they don't repair neither lots of things when they broke right now, including phone service in lots of parts of the country even if you call them lots of times, we have a joke running these days, like.

enraged client: "Hi, I'm calling to report that our district hasn't had internet service for like a month since the storm, can you do someth"...
Service guy/girl: "Oh, sir that is really bad, thanks for calling"... cuts the call.
enraged client: "Hey what, don't hang... HEY!!!!!, fu"#$R$#%#2434.

something like that is what we imagine is happening right now, it hasn't happened to me but I I'm sure it's the nearest thing to the truth; one time when we had problems with the service, the technician that came wanted to rip us off, wanted us to pay for a cable that they stole and if it disappeared they should replace it themselves, another good technician did the thing when we complained with the company, that when the service was more decent, and even we had to complain from time to time because of a fail in the service so they could repair it, and it was a problem from the district or because someone cut off our service, maybe fraud (like the first technician charging us for something "only he could do" when it's something the company should take care of), and then complain to see it reestablished.

I believe our phone cables run underground in the city as with the electricity and in the air with the electricity poles in open places (I think that is how the infrastructure of urbanized places works).

I hope it goes okay too. I won't know what to do otherwise cause their website stated that there's no formal procedure to appeal if you're rejected Dead I've got people around me telling me every other minute that Canada's really hard to get to for some reason, but at the same time, I'm seeing hundreds or thousands of other people getting approved. I'm not too certain, so I'll just do what needs to be done and keep my fingers crossed for unfortunate or unnecessary stuff to not happen (I've even heard of stuff like they have a quota for a certain period of time, which can be really bad cause the soundness of your status won't matter).

Bran can easily be on the top of the middle income group here, and for my country, that's simply rich. He can go have dinner at some posh restaurant every other day <img src=" longdesc="109" />

And ha! At least yours would save you your time calling em. Ours will entertain you and give you unhelpful and very mechanical responses, and you'd take a long time talking to them just to get your message across. And after that, nothing is done for you. It's a lot of wasted time there, cause they only work during working hours, and you should probably be working at the same time. Sometimes, they won't even pick up the phones during lunch time.

And about the fraud, I'm not too sure cause it's something that people speculate a lot, like how the technician would rig the system so that it would work for a while and then break, which would mean you'll have to call him again and pay him for it. I don't know how much truth is there though.

I have a feeling that the electric cables should run underground cause it's probably safer that way?

Then we can only hope that everything is gonna be alright (visa application).

Well, depend too if the person contracting the service does not notice the fraud and keeps giving them money; I don't believe in most things of the system (my own), since they haven't delivered stable positive responses, they falter lots of times and its well known the corruption of it; its not only that we live the fraud (my only case was the cable thing), it can be that the service and maintenance is so bad that they don't fix it efficiently nor effectively fast when it falls down by itself because of how bad is the quality of the installations, old cables, servers, human error, whatever; and there are the stories that people tell that we give credit because of dissatisfaction and the bad service, some case of someone working in cantv (the government company) and watching how they haphazardly shut down the service of people, or the ones from people that suffered the same situation as me, and the ones who fell for it and payed the bastard, they condone the situation and promote the frauds. Of course I would only give credit to people of confidence and the most repeated stories, that shows that something is happening and that the system is obviously failing somewhere, but the rage can be so high that one can believe in anything, of course there is good people in there as in everywhere, like the other technician that put the cable without asking for money. But the system is so flawed, doesn't give you consistent reliability and doesn't self regulate nor tries to straighten up on what it does nor take care of corrupt people; so you become able to believe in mostly anything bad about them - everything could be possible about them (you begin to believe), and equally the people that believe in the system, can't believe the bad things there are, or make an excuse for a greater good, like a sacrifice for other good things they did (yes they may have, still that doesn't justify the current situation), and believe all the good opinions (naturally).

Complaining too much, I'm still grateful that I have internet.

yes I believe its safer, but I don't know, its easier to use the poles when they have to cover great distances in uneven terrain or when they certainly couldn't dig and make it underground because of any reason of the environment, the soil etc.

So here I'm doing investigation projects and studying italian while the universities are at strike, it's not like vacations like we have to help in most ways to maintain filled the spaces of the university since the insecurity rises up when it's lonely and there is the fear that the government takes the place, and they still ask us to give some results on the studies, send us material for reading and maintain the contact for giving advice on the progress of the projects, they give classes when they can (in our cases, because not every teacher gives classes while we are in strike).

(creeps back in... for a while) I'll have to creep out later, and I'm creeping in cause I'm just so darn tired...

Thanks Vic, I hope it'd go well too. Am almost ready to send my application in now. Kinda nerve-wrecking, most likely cause of the experience from the prior rejection, but my status should be much more solid now. The wait is only going to be more nerve-wrecking though... <img src=" longdesc="109" />

Hmm... Well, I just recently heard about another technician that comes to your house, sees that you're using your own router instead of their issued one, and then he'd try to con you by saying that your router is broken. He installs another issued router for you (which is a very bad one actually, with only one antenna, while the story I heard was that theirs have two/three antennas) and takes your router away. Whereas the owner's router isn't even broken cause the lights were still on when it's turned on! It's only that it wasn't blinking, and this guy just tried to con the better router away for himself!
But ah well, I've heard a couple of good technicians as well, but that's extremely rare (so rare... like meeting a shiny Pokemon in any Pokemon game xD). And it's as you've said, the company is being painted black just because of the few (well the number doesn't really matter, does it?) black sheep in it. But mine here is already quite notorious for their other bad services and crazy-high charges as well, as a company itself. But this is all just much complaining Tongue out laughing

I just remembered that I told myself some time ago that having built the cables underground would just make maintenance expensive and inconvenient. Tongue out I asked something stupid.

Wait... I thought the strike was some years ago? Is it a new one?

    (creeps back out)

Well I am not surprised there Japo, USA currency is usually worth more per dollar then most other countries currency, except maybe the UK and a few others.

Sorry to hear your country's economy is that bad Japo, you should speak with your government about that Tongue out.

Speaking with the government? They listen to no one now, and just takes anyone who thinks they aren't managing well as arses who don't appreciate them. You might even get jailed.
