Thanks Bran! It's right after all my first mid-terms too, which is great! I'm gonna just sleep a lot tonight though. Too tired from all the mid-terms.

Oh, it seems like the legal age to drink in the US is quite late. I think it's 19 here and 18 in Malaysia. 21, though, is a legal age to vote as a citizen in Malaysia.

I hope I did well for my midterms, at least my lecturer said I did for a few of them. Some of the results are already out and I'm not too happy with them cause I think I could've did much better. But I'm getting the hang of things now, I think. A lot of time needs to be poured into self-reading and self-practicing and there's just so little time to do all. Need to be smarter at doing all these, more exercise for more experience.

Really? It is the complete opposite in the usa, it is 18 to vote, join the military, etc, the only thing you can't do until 21 is drink. Everything else you can do at 18 though, as age 18 is the age at which people become legal adults over here.

18 is the age where we are considered to be adults in Malaysia, but not for voting, which I honestly don't get why. Might be a cultural thing, cause most of our cultures there consider 21 to be the adult age where we become fully independent (and there are some ceremonies, like giving a golden key in the Chinese culture). I guess they must have some reason to raise the drinking age in the states.

Well I suppose there are definitely reasons for raising the age of drinking, but I personally think the age to purchase cigarettes should be 21 as well, because those things are worse for your health the alcohol.

I consider us lucky to have it set to any age at all... I mean we are the country that in the 1920's and 1930's or somewhere around there had prohibition. LOL
